SMOTHRACE, acronym of SiciliAn Micro and NanO TecHnology Research and InnovAtion Center, is a project aimed at the development of the island by means the support of micro- and nanoelectronics. It involves 17 founding members and 28 total partners. AMED will provide its expertise to realize sensorized cardiovascular and orthopedic implants.
